As we are cutting the log work at our site, the customer is preparing their site to receive the log work. Foundation must be square and level to within a half inch.
We travel throughout British Columbia sourcing the wood we use in our log homes and timber work. Here Zoomer and John consider a candidate log.

Jesse works on the first rounds of a scribed log house. Blocks have been set and levelled, and the first half and 3/4 base rounds placed. Now the house can begin to grow.
All of the logs in our sribed log homes are gasketed along the laterals and around the notches. Notches are insulated using a borate treated sheeps wool sealed in a plastic envelope.
