Re: Aboriginal Gathering Structure at Mohawk College in Hamilton Ontario

The Aboriginal Gathering Centre Log Structure project at Mohawk College was a very challenging project due to the complex nature of the design and the engineering required to building this structure. As with most projects we were presented with a challenging budget and very tight timeline in which to complete the project. Nicola Log Works, john Boys commitment to the project, experience in log structures, and experience in the engineering of these types of structures proved to be invaluable in all the stages of this project from the beginning to design, and to final erection of the structure. Nicola Log Works has the ability to source and custom fabricate the materials required for the installation and the ship these components several thousand miles across the country where Nicola crew efficiently erected the structure. In the future I hope to be fortunate enough to work with Nicola Log Works and John Boys and I would not hesitate to recommend Nicola’s service to any one requiring wood or log structure work.
