Timber Frame Structures

Nicola LogWorks

Timber Frame uses squared timbers, and can vary from simple structures to highly detailed buildings. We use both complex wood to wood mortise and tenon joints as well as more simple connections that can involve hidden bolting hardware. We often incorporate timber frame details and joinery in our conventional log homes.

We also cut roof systems and provide timber work for other contractors.

We provided the shop drawings, and cut the timber package for this beautiful home in Whistler BC. The design originated with Nadeau and Associates who were also the builders. These guys do beautiful work. You can see more pictures of the building by visiting their site; www.nadeau-associates.com.

(If you really like the building - you could own it. Water front location.)

Here is another timber frame structure that will be on the market soon. We built this vacation home for John's Mom in 1996, up in the Birken area of British Columbia. A traditional timber frame -all wood to wood connections and joinery. Give us a call if you might be interested.
